jup, half of the degree project time is gone.
So now its time for some christmas holiday, yeah!

when it all began...

I think I had to share some of my car-lovin roots with you:
I have already build my first full-scale, real drivin car!!!!
its a mad max-style buggy-something based on a fiat 126. when I build this real masterpiece of design and engineering I was about 11 or 12years old.
it was powered by a furios 23hp-2cylinder. goes like hell after loosing all this useless body parts ;).
and the good ol' landy I bought together with my older brother. Had some real fun with these two as kids...

4 weeks of diploma done. just moved in another flat, so no time to sketch at the moment. but to show something, here is an older rendering from this aston martin thing...

Webasto update

When looking at my last sketch shown here my webasto projekt came in my mind. I think I never show any picture of the finished model. so to fix this, here are some pics oif it, with a little bit of photoshop ;)

So, finally I started my diploma. Much work to do for the next 5-6 month. Sadly, I think there's not so much to show for the next few month because I'll need my whole time for my diploma. Guess what company! This sketch will help, maybe...

ahhh, back from nice 'n' hot holiday in italy.
Just saw our school represented on cardesignnews.com yeah!!!
Well, they didnt chose the nicest pictures of my lambo, but its still very cool that our degree show finally made it on this side.
didn't work a lot the last weeks, but to show something new, here are some sketches i did while tv.
I think its time for me to design a nice hot rod finally. sadly, after 5 years of studying I never made one. But the car is almost there in my head since many years, something like the ultimate car for me.
it wont be a super-modern advanced thing, cause i still like the older looking most. And I think hot rod-design takes a lot of attention on all the little parts like suspension, so do I. More to follow soon, I hope.

just a little rendering I made when working on the model.
Well, italian police would be a better theme, but the american colours work so well with the form.
So now I think its time to do something new, no more lambos anymore...

Lambo commercial ;)

Anyone remember the Lamborghini commercials with this "welcome to sant'Agata. home of Lambo' text? Well, to get some render-feeling back, I draw this picture of our three cool lambo models from the project. the left model is from my good friend johannes, the right one is from my other good friend fabs. the picture is completely drawn (except one wheel) in photoshop and took me just a whole day, but I'm really happy with the result.

Yeah! Now im famous!!!!

Beat da veyron!!

This is a rendering I draw today. I tried to use the render-style from my older lambo renderings, but gave it some background and speed to create a racing scene between veyron and my lambo. well, the rendering is ok, but the feeling of speed doesnt work as i wanted. I think it looks too static and the background doesnt match with the cars either. but the first step is always the hardest, and its my first photoshop since many weeks, so its ok.

as i said before, the sketches are from summer 2008.
I started the projekt more like a fun projekt, but when the modelwork began, it became more and more serious. well, i took some of the crazier ideas from the earlier sketches like the machine-gun inspired headlights and the atomic wheels for my model.

Munich Degree Show 2009 - Lambo

Here's my other model I presented: A Veyron-killer Lambo!!!
this thing took about 4 month in clay and a lot of time for details.
well, sketching took just about 2-3 weeks.
The sketches were made last summer, but there were some huge breaks in the process of this car. well, i kinda like the result.
Some better pictures and sketches will follow soon, so stay tuned!!!

Munich Degree Show 2009 - Initio

Degree Show is gone, oh yes!!!!!
It was a real fight against time this year. Degree show started at 6.00, my lambo model was finished at 7.30. but now all is finished and im happy !!!

not posted for a long time... working the whole time on my current projekt, made many sketches, but being not allowed to show anything. but I worked on another project the last term, together with my good friends stephi and daniel. here are some of the sketches which are not taken for the final 3d model. just to show you the craziness of this projekt. surprisingly, its not a sports car :)
